Hallsey Souder is a rising sophomore at Williams College, where he plans to major in Economics while continuing to explore a range of academic interests. This summer, he has been working on asset recovery and financial intelligence cases that involve in-depth forensic accounting, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and geopolitical research. His work includes analyzing financial records, corporate filings, IRS nonprofit disclosures, and shell company networks to uncover patterns of fraud, self-dealing, and international asset movement. He has produced detailed research briefs and intelligence memos that help the team and clients stay ahead of developing situations. On the strategic side, he has contributed to transforming a one-person startup into a scalable, multimillion-dollar firm by designing efficient research models and supporting client engagement. Hallsey also brings a background in art history and experience at Sotheby’s to help navigate complex intersections between the art world, finance, and legal recovery efforts. He has streamlined investigative tasks such as extracting data from Form 990s, tracing shell companies, cross-referencing auction history, and analyzing public records—accelerating the pace of research while building a strong understanding of how financial systems operate on a global scale.
